Sports Bar in Hua Hin
Sports Bar in Hua Hin
I've read that the Sports Bar, opposite London Bar has changed name. Anyone know if it still shows live sports or is it a music bar now?
Thanks

There are many bars with multiple screens and finding the one you want to watch can be a little work. Try the 2 Irish bars Murphys and Father Ted's

Faves Irish bar opposite the police station. Many screens and Dave can get almost any sport you may wish to watch

In many thai-owned operated bars they will put the requested game on the TV but NOT the commentary--if you ask--Sorry, customer like music. Meaning the staff like the music. That is why I suggested the two Irish, farang managed bars.

The Sports Bar is now called Shots

Surely it's better without the commentary? I much prefer just the crowd noise. Here in West London there are a number of pubs with 'dodgy' satellite set ups that have CTH Stadium channels rather than Sky or BT.People ask for the commentary so the landlord puts it on and it is Thai or Vietnamese.I ll be back in Hua Hin in late March for the CTH channels!oakdale160 wrote:In many thai-owned operated bars they will put the requested game on the TV but NOT the commentary--if you ask--Sorry, customer like music. CTH here you have a choice on your remote to select Thai or UK and most bars use UK as their customers are mostly Western.BAZZ wrote:Surely it's better without the commentary? I will arrive to Thailand and Hua Hin on Wednesday, and really want to watch the semifinal in the WC. Is there any bar showing the games from the WC, even though the match start is at 1 am?

That would also be Father Teds on Soi 61 opposite the Police Station.Nick_swede wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 3:09 am I will arrive to Thailand and Hua Hin on Wednesday, and really want to watch the semifinal in the WC. Cheers,
