Valium/xanax in hua hin

Hello,

Im about to travel home and im sadly out of my medication. My doctor back home describe it to me for long flights since i have problems sleeping.

Anyone know where i can buy in Hua Hin? I would like to avoid the hassle of visiting a doctor here, since i dont have many days left to enjoy this lovely place.

may be a problem in shopping center drug stores but should be available at 100 others.

I don't think those are strictly legal there, however I found one small place in Hua Hin that sold Valium under certain circumstances. I was able to get it there when I needed it for nearly 10 years so I think the pharmacy should still be there.

I don't want to get anybody in trouble so I would rather relay this info in a PM, but can a new member with 1 post receive PMs?

It has been banned here for several years. Only legal on prescription from a Doctor.

It's on the Controlled Drug list in Thailand, as with most other places, so your best bet is to visit one of the hospitals and convince a doctor you need it. They will, however, have heard this many times before so evidence from your doctor back home, such as an email or fax, would be beneficial.

If you have the original package or written prescription, take to BKK hospital. A Dr there will write you a new prescription to fill at their phamacy.

You say you have tried at a few places, but where these the sort of places you see at the shopping malls and etc?

You will have more chance if you ask at one or more of the smaller Thai roadside pharmacies where nobody can speak a word of English.

Yes i actually avoided pharamacies like Boots since i figured they need to be carefull since its a chain.

In the end i was able to find something called Lorazepam. Hopefully it will do the trick and i can sleep peacefully all the way back when i go home.

Anyone have any experience with it?

It would be good to know how much it cost and where you obtained it. I use it from time to time and would like to know where to buy it when I run out.

[youtube][/youtube]I made some progress on this matter. It seems Lorezepam is avaliable in most pharmacies here in hua hin. My friend wanted to get some to and he found first place he asked for it. He was downtown around the bar area. I think its 400 for 8 of them.

^ Yes they're available all over; I got those at the G-Market pharmacy on Soi 88 extension, but they are very mild compared to Valium and didn't work for me. You may want to try one before you really need it to see if it works for you.
