I'll also agree Nany's has good food, pies and prices

175 for the large steak and kidney puddings. Don't know how that compares with AP.
They do have lots of stuff that I've not seen elsewhere. Also their range of pies, pasties, frozen meats are excellent.
199 Baht in AP for the large pudding. Go Nany's!
They were 179 at AP when I visited last Sunday or Monday.
They're adjusting prices then. On Thursday 13th my receipt shows 199 for the large and 139 for the small :(

It seems the question has been answered! It is an excellent restaurant and they have a good display of "farang" food although at the moment it is a bit depleted.

Personally, I don't think any other manufacturer comes anywhere near to matching the amount of filling that HHH&B provide. We all have different tastes, so some might taste better/worse to different people, but for pure value for money in respect of content, I think HHH&B are so far ahead of the field, they could only be equaled at best.

BIAS is not necessarily a negative emotion. If you like something . you say so, that shows a bias. Whatis wrong with that?
If all reviews of everything said --It's Ok or it's not bad, how helpful would that be???

I would challenge you to identify a pie made in Hua Hin where the filling is more than you would find in a HHH&B pie. I'm not saying such a pie doesn't exist, but I've not found one, and we've tried a few. I will gladly try one and apologise if it passes the test.

As I've said, flavour is personal taste, so I'm not saying your preference should not be another manufacturer.

I am simply agreeing with oakdale's observation.

Can we stop using the word bias/biased (after my 5 repetitions here :D ). Bias is based on prejudice.
Prejudice is opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.

Posters are expressing preferences based only on their personal experiences (unless anyone claiming bias has proof otherwise in which case please provide it!). Hence no bias.

I also have found HHH&B to be the best filled pies/pasties here so far, with an excellent short crust pastry.

It's nice to have other fine alternatives too (e.g. Anna's) as sometimes 'a change is as good as a rest'.

How refreshing that today we go off subject but into a semantic discussion on the words: Bias, Prejudice, and Preference.

It's not pleasant for people to be accused of such things when expressing their opinions in a thread which clearly recently has been about subjective appraisals. I did ask for my words of clarification to be the last but I guess you felt it should be otherwise. So be it.

In a form of communication where all vocal and non verbal cues are eliminated, leaving only the words, how ordinary it is to react to the misuse of words, especially when one wants to quote the man on the left in this clip:
