According to information attributed to the same Kulsawek Sawekwannakorn who is credited with the photo in BB's post (and confirming londongeorge's info) the only services offered will be:
visa renewal [..] for tourists staying less than 90 days and for expats to do 90 day reports.

Update - according to info published in The Nation newspaper:
The centre provides four kinds of services - visa extensions, re-entry permits, 90-day notifications and resident notifications.

Amazing that we have to read the Nation newspaper to find out what is going on in our own backyard.

Just for your info:
I was there yesterday morning around 10 o*clock. Only me and another couple and it took me the time to fill out the form and totally 10 minutes.
The service was excellent..... :D .....but they only do the 90 days report I think.

I was at the grand opening event on Tuesday May 9. Lots of officials and pictures and flowers and speeches in Thai.

They did say however, several times in English that they will do 4 services:

1) "Visa Extension" which we all know is really Extension of Stay
2) Re-Entry Permit
3) 90 Day Report
4) Residence Letter (as needed for buying motorbike, car, etc.)

Please reduce confusion here by not speculating. If you're still confused, just go down there and ask.

I passed by this afternoon, the place was empty save for a couple of immigration officers.

I asked one exactly what they will do and what they wont do.

They will do 90 day reports, notification of address, re entry permits and extensions to 30 day tourist visas.

They will not do extensions of 1 year visas such as marriage and retirement.

And maybe "Passport" should be removed from the title of this thread since no issue of passport will be done here?
