"Torrentz, Largest Torrent Search Engine, Shuts Down
Two weeks after U.S. authorities seized and shut down Kickass Torrents (KAT), the world’s largest website for sharing torrents, the peer-to-peer sharing community was dealt another blow this week. Torrentz.eu, the largest search engine for torrents, shut down without any notice or explanation."

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

There was a web forgery alert issued about 5 or 6 months ago.Big Boy wrote:It's there, and gives the impression that it would work, but what about the need to sign up for a free account - whats that all about please?
"Firefox listed a Web Forgery alert on the Kickass homepage, adding only that “web forgeries are designed to trick you into revealing personal or financial information by imitating sources you may trust. Entering any information on this web page may result in identity theft or other fraud.”

D'oh! The page was up when I copied the URL to paste here. But it didn't work. I missed the 1 line 'good bye' message saying the site was history.sateeb wrote:Not for me it aint!!Homer wrote:http://torrentz.me/ is up.Name Taken wrote:It seems as though torrentz.com/torrentz.eu has been taken down.
Re: Torrents
Torrentz.me also redirects to a phishing site so be careful. Since the demise of KAT and Torrentz there have been a lot of fake copycat websites (including the one I posted above) that are quite dangerous. https://torrentfreak.com/torrentz-gone- ... ll-160806/
Just tried these two which (despite a lot of annoying popup ads) seem to work:
http://extratorrent.cc
http://www.idope.se
If anyone has any more (reliable ones that are not viral) please share.

The classic: https://thepiratebay.org/. Between that and extratorrent I've found what I wanted.buksida wrote:If anyone has any more (reliable ones that are not viral) please share.

I agree 100% Homer Pirate Bay gives all I want be it Music, Ebooks or Movies ( although not enough time really for the latter)Homer wrote:The classic: https://thepiratebay.org/. Re: Torrents
I forgot about this site because their torrents are also found on other sites. On their site it's only their torrents: https://eztv.ag/. Limited to American TV.

Re: Torrents
I use this site a lot and I find British shows on there. Seems to be not as reliable as it used to be though - just had a gap of 2 days worth of programmes. Find that rarbg.to is more reliable these days, but the presentation isn't as good as eztv.Homer wrote:I forgot about this site because their torrents are also found on other sites. Re: Torrents
Had a quick look at the above for some books earlier and the site turned up 80% of what I was looking for which is good news as Pirate Bay seems to be under constant maintenance when I try to download stuff. I just get a message to check back in 10 minutes.pharvey wrote:Have been playing here today..... all seems to work well thus far : -
