Thailand just keeps on, keeping on. Little changes.
Can any farang member feel that in any way his/her life here is altered by the latest form of administration.
No change in Thailand

No change or little changes? The post content seems to contradict the title.

Re: No change in Thailand
Change in Thailand happens at a snail's pace, 30-40 years from now Thailand will still be a third-world country with all of the same problems that exist here today.
The only changes I have seen over the past decade have been a few new shopping malls and a lot of new high rise condominiums.

There resistant to change. Totally accepting of anything outside of Thailand. Saving "Face" is a major problem which keeps them from proposing or accepting any form of change.

To be fair, the new shopping malls bring in some new businesses and services and provide employment for Thai people.

The HUGE overbuilding is partly driven by the problem of Show and face. If youhavea portfolio of stocks, bonds, and financial investments--there is nothing to point to, nothing to show your friends.
Re: No change in Thailand
There's a reason an ethnic minority of ca. 15% own ca. 85% of Thailand: lack of business acumen on the part of the indigenous population. This is clearly and repeatedly demonstrated in everyday business negotiations.
"There's no plausible or convincing reason, certainly no evidential one, to believe that there is such an entity (= deity) and that all observable phenomena, including the cosmological ones... are explicable without the hypothesis; you don't need the assumption."
