Hi Mac,

Its a BKK job i think. Some of my customers have bought up there and are very happy with the price (much better than here) and the BBQ. Pm me if you want a number.

RE BBQ'S

Post by housedoctor »

A good selection in the new Homepro. Not to pricey either. Also I think they are available up in the Index Mall. Would you not consider the local BBQ units. We use one all most every other night. The units themselves are dirt cheap as is the charcoal & the food tastes far better when cooked properly on one. Have a think about it. The spent ash is also great for the garden.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for but a built to spec one has got to be better value.

World of leather shop has a nice selection of bbq's, head south out of Hua Hin down the fly over and it is on the left next to the pool shop.

You can get local type BBQ’s from the hardware shops opposite the rear of the day market, they are very cheap, as you can imagine. I have one of those ceramic lined bucket affairs, the same as the ones they put in the middle of the table in BBQ restaurants, it cooks very well.
And sorry to disappoint anyone looking forward to a leather BBQ, but I think that is the World of Luxury Furniture that Limey is referring to.

BBQ

Post by vistana »

We bought one of the local Thai BBq's and they work very well and are very cheap, I think from memory we paid about 1,000 baht for a large one and the food does taste a lot better than the gas BBQ's most local hardware places sell them and the charcoal to go with it as well.
