Classic car insurance.

Post by a10ams »

I bought myself an old car a year ago and struggled to get it insured. Eventually Siam Motorworld in Bangkok arranged something for me. However, the company limit the payout to 200,000 baht which is way less than the car is worth.

Anybody out there know of any companies that will sell me 'agreed value' insurance?

Thanks.

Have a word with Matt viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15249 . I've not tried him for motor insurance yet (a couple of weeks to go yet), but he's been fair in everything else I've used him for.

It is indeed a tricky issue. The vintage car insurance rates depend a lot on the condition of the vehicle concerned, usage and other terms and conditions.
