I play golf nearly every day in Hua Hin,and 99% of the guys are a pleasure to play with,no matter the nationality.
I don't suppose it could be you that has the problem???
You sound like real fun to play with.

to the op,
as a fellow irish native, and a nationalistic one at that, i would like to say we have eneough ass holes of our own to worry about , never mind worrying about a few british ones.

At work we serve golfers of many nationalities, usually the amateurs were fun happy people, the pros were up tight presumtious idiots, despite how good they were, including that popular thai gentleman.

We all have to learn to see people for who they are not there nationality,
that said , i am heading down to the local republican bar to have a pint with its most regular customer, an ex british soldier.
