Converting a Vehicle to use LPG

Post by MrPlum »

I'm considering converting a Suzuki Carry 1.6 to LPG. Does anyone know the likely cost and who does conversions?

I don't know the answer to your question, but wouldn't it significantly reduce the 'carry' part? There's a converted Toyota pick up that often visits our next door neighbours, and they've lost about 50% of their carrying ability. As the Suzuki Carry is a lot smaller, I assume you'd lose about 75%.

Converted my car over a year ago at a place near the Tan Sa Mai supermarket. There is another place near the u turn for Ko Takiap. Cost just over 40 000 baht. No problems whatsoever, no noticeable loss of performance. Fill the tank up for about 450 baht and get close to 400 kms. More on a long trip.
