Leaving Home

There's a old poen I learned in High School that goes

Breathes there a man with soul so dead
Who never to himself hath said
'This is my own, my native land',
As home his footsteps he has turned
from wandering on a foreign strand?

Please discuss your reasons for moving and the good and bad experiences of doing so. You could help many folks who like myself, are deciding what to do. Thanks
