Missing Hua Hin...Sleepless in Memphis

Post by Jimmy »

Hello to all who are lucky enough to be in Hua Hin today. Just found this site and had to sign up. I lived in Hua Hin for 2 years. I am now in the US and I count the days until I return. My life will not be complete until I am there.
I have a hole in my heart...OH! not from a girl like you may think. But never the less from a little girl...Salli...2years old .... I have not seen her since she was 6 months. She is my daughter...If you see the most beautiful little girl you have ever seen tell her Daddy Loves her! and he will be back as soon as he can...[/code]

Go back...

If you have enough education under your belt to do some teaching, go back as soon as you can. If you have a basic skill, go back as soon as you can.
I met this lovely girl in Taiwan years ago, and we had this beautiful boy that she was not sure she wanted. We married and saw it through, and he's now the most handsome, intelligent, wonderful kid you could imagine.
Your little girl and her mother needs you, and you can work things out. Just get back to them, and determine to do what ever it takes to make things work. It will be worth it.

I am coming back!!!!!

Post by Jimmy »

I never though anyone who read this would actually ever meet or know my wfie Arm or my little girl Salli. But someone did and I do not know who it is. Arm told me that you are some one who is the friend/boyfriend of her friend. Anyway I thank you for finding her and letting her know what was on my mind. I may get to meet you soon and I certainly plan to buy you some of your favorite beverages if we meet.
I have waited to see them for almost 3 years. Just tell them I love them and I will see them before the end of this month, if you see them between now and then. FINALLY!!! I will fill this gapping hole in my heart!!!!

After 3 years?
Honestly, good luck.

Lomuamart, I undertand your "Honestly" and somewhat negative conotation ( normally true) about after "3 years" statement. I probally sound like some guy who just fell off the long boat. I have realistic expectations about what happens in Thailand. Why? because I lived in Thailand for 3 years. I speak Thai (good enough to gin kow...gai,pak,roti,pla....LOL!...you get the point). Of course we farlong never master the Thai language.
I have been thru all the same mistakes we all have made in the begining. (if one is man enough to admit) eg. my mother has fever, my fathers cow,(whoa) died. ,you know the list...long ago.
I have encouraged Arm to find another person for her life and I know she has had every opportunity to do so. She has told me about them . I want her to be happy. Our main concern is to take care of our daughter Salli. Arm is a great success story to some extent. I removed her from her profession in 2000...six years ago...not in Hua Hin...She has been in Hua Hin ever since. She has not been perfect I know, but she really has a good heart...( a RARE commodity for a ex-working type).
If she told me today that she found someone to care for her and she loved him I would be the first to say mai pen rai...Go! Have a good life.
You see I have a Thai wife in America too. Arm and my wife know each other  My Thai wife in America knows I am coming to Hua HIn to see Arm
My Thai wife in America is from the the good side of the track. BA degree from Pyup University/Chang Mai. Owns realestae in BKK. financially sound, had a US visa before I knew her, Her family paid for our wedding (not me). Her father is a University professor...on & on.
So as hard as I have tried to help Arm move on, and myself, we really do have deep feeelings for each other that will not go away. (At this point though I hear you think out loudamart, oh! i mean lomuamart) ...RIGHT! you send her money. Yes ,I do, but it is only a fraction of what she used to have on her own (she is HOT! which could tanslate into premium/blue chip..kow jai mai) and mostly just enough to get by for a comfortable living for our child and her. My child goes to the best pre-school in Hua Hin. It is what any responsible and loving father should do.
So you see Mr. lomuamart ,my expectations are based in real Thai, not Mr. lonely heart farlong who wants to find my trusted virgin bar girl who waits for me only, I see those types of post all the time and I just smile and think how expensive will it be before they get that reality dagger in the heart. This will happen daily in the LOS till the end of time. I do not want to sound bad toward all Thai people, just the slick ones who prey upon we naive farlong. ( Most are good people) However, my statement of the latter type:They are so slick (like moter oil) that if you grind them up and put them in your motorcycle you would never need gas. Your motorcycle would have perpetual movement. Only brakes would be necessary. Maybe this can slove the petro shortage in the future... :o Anyway just a theory...
So in closing I do not take offence, because I could write the same thing in response to another post like mine. But, it is possible to have your cake and eat it too!...once in every blue moon/tung mue...somebody has to win the lottery...LUCKY ME! :D..... I Love both my wifes
