Hi Cathxx, if you would like a daily forcast of the weather in Hua Hin just go to this website http://weather.yahoo.com/ and type in Hua Hin.

Yes it certainly does rain, heavy rain but usually for not too long and it does freshen up the place and make the climate a bit more comfortable. Just pop into a bar have a drink and wait a little while and relax.
Anyway don't worry nobody else does you will have a great time ! :thumb:

Have you ever been to a tropical/sub tropical country before? If you havn't, then the answer is that the weather is pretty unpredictable. The only things you can rely on are heat and rain. The equator has some thing to do with that, I believe.

Thank you for all replied posts. I am glad that the rain came early this year. I was in Hua Hin last year and it was drought during this time eventhough in Yahoo said it" scattered thunder storm"!

I was in Hua Hin 3-4 years ago during July, it was raining and flood. But for laterly it is not rain that much. (Becareful for what's I wish for!) The man make big lake at the end of my village was dried out. My big underground water pond also was lowered. Any finally my gardener kept tell me that it is not raining here.

Well I hope you enjoy rain there, personally I love rain specially in the tropical country.

Thunder Storms

Sorry to hear of the poor weather. I hope it will be better for the start of July. Having said that, I was in HH 3 years agon in july and it was hot (veryvery hot) we were on loungers on the beach at a bar/food place and when the rain came it was bliss. Bliss for me and my mates but the sun loving farang majority retreated to the comfort of their Hotel/guesthouse and the Bar shut up shop. Major Bummer :guns:
