What time is the train?
Tried to find the train times from Hua Hin to BKK.
Got this by clicking the timetable page on HHAD.
This web site at (state railway thailand) has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
So didn't want to go to that site.
Just looking for air con train to BKK.
Anybody?
Thanks

I'm sure that it's accurate.

Nearly accurate, I think. 2 weeks ago I went to pick up my nephew, who came from Bangkok. He said, the train will arrive at 13:35. I looked at several timetables in internet, all had the arrival time of 13:00. So I was at the station at 13:00 and the written table at the station said also 13:00. I ask the official man befor the counter and he showed me a printed timetable, where the arrival time was 13:35.
So I waited until 14:00, when the train finally arrived. My nephew paid 44 Baht for a 3rd class ticket!

The Train fare from Bangkok has been 44 baht for donkey's years (there is a surcharge on Rapid and Express trains)
First time I came to Hua Hin - think it was 1986 - I paid 5 Baht from Don Meung Airport to Bang Sue junction and picked up the Hua Hin train there for 44 Baht.
The roads where rubbish then, so train was a better option

On www.seat61.com there are the ticket prizes. But I am confused, because my nephew told me, he paid 44 Baht and on this site its 234 Baht for a 3rd class ticket (229 km)
Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathami (575 km) 245 Baht
Bangkok to Chiang Mai (751 km) 271 Baht
Bangkok to Aranyaprathet (255 km) 58 Baht
Is there any system in the price structure?

If you go to the State Railway of Thailand website (which has a Thai and and English language option) you will find a comprehensive timetable for the train service in all regions of the Kingdom.
You will also find that the train fares are related to the distance travelled, i.e. the longer the journey the more the fare.

Re: What time is the train?
I going to put my mother in law on the train (not throw her from the train). About how long does the trip take, best case scenario?
They throw their clubs backwards, and that's wrong. You should always throw a club ahead of you so that you don't have to walk any extra distance to get it. ~Tommy Bolt, about the tempers of modern players
