Visa dates affected by emergency trip home

Post by thecolonel »

I have to return to UK as my Dad has died. As re my Visa I will lose out on 6 or 7 days of my permitted stay, which affects things further down the line, I guess I can't do anything about that? I suppose once I leave for whatever reason my stay is finished and I start again from afresh when I come back?

How long do you have left on your visa? If you get a re-entry permit (you can get it at the airport) it won't affect your visa.

Ps sorry to clarify... if I returned with no visa I get 30 day tourist visa... So can I extend that by 30 days in the same way I can an SETV 60 day? Thanks
