There are 2 main financial elements to a Thai marriage. Firstly the initial Capital cost for the family to have big face in the village, as mentioned this is very often returned the same evening. This is rapidly followed by the monthly running costs of the venture which, in a very short period, exceed the initial cost and for some unknown reason keep rising.
