Dating in Hua Hin

Post by ge3 »

Hi all. This question probably has been asked a million times here. Im pretty new to Hua Hin and am currently single. Previous relationtionship with farang lady in UK. Im 38 years old non smoker and live in Khao Takiap area. Im staying here for quite a while 3-6 months maybe more due to overdue time off work in UK.

My question is where do people meet each other here apart from Soi Bintabaht, bars etc? Im not really in to bar girls chain smoking and drinking yabba filled and covered in tattoos. I really dont care if the person is Farang or Thai. Just fancy some company meals out, decent convo and doesnt call me 'duurling' all the time etc and see what happens.

Cheers 8)

Meeting the opposite sex here really isn't, or shouldn't be, an issue. Just get yourself out and about in the environment you feel OK in, make an effort and it won't take long to bump into someone to date.

Plenty of girls around who aren't hard-nosed BGs that want something different to the philandering, selfish and broke average Thai guy.

As Lomuamart said, Market Village would be a good place to start. Perhaps start eating out more at night in the vast multitude of choices.

Just get out there and adventure, best way imo.

shower, shave, splash on a bit of stinkwater, clean the fried egg bits off the shirt, no black socks with the sandals and you'l be in the game. And make sure you floss out the debris between your teeth.
Try online dating sites.

I could not agree more completely. Market Village is excellent fishing ground when you are looking for the more educated and sophisticated type of Thai girl. But you might also get lucky with a European girl.
Good luck!

Mate, this is a easy one. Just make sure you are not a slob, and get out and about as said before above. Even riding around on your bike[which i am sure you will rent by now] go around town, you will find something for sure. I am 41 and i get waves from girls. Make sure your happy and smile a lot, i reckon you could find a lady in a day in this place. Or start out by getting a cleaner girl, pick a real cute one get to know them and bingo, ask them out, they always say yes. Oh try and find a lady that can speak a little english, or is learning english at school. That makes life heaps better here, and will be able to help you aswel

Thanks for replies and some good advice. So grab some old spice and head down to Market Village sounds good. I must confess one girl in Tescos at the checkout asked if I was married. She was nice enough perhaps Ill go back through the same checkout again tomorrow. Tesco, "Every little helps!" :D

I have had a scout through Thai Love Links but feel a little cautious as I feel some girls are wolves in sheeps clothing. ie ex BGs or BGs etc..

Sharking at the shopping centre. :naughty:

That takes me back a few years.

You need tactics. Be well groomed and a small bit of smelly stuff on. Upon reaching the shopping centre first buy something so you have a bag and look like you are actually shopping. As you are dealing with complete strangers physical attraction will be the first thing that kicks in. There are many ways to approach in a shopping centre whether staff or customers. Pick your target and clock the ring finger before making a move. If she is married and shopping with a friend don,t hesitate as they will have other friends who will be single. You need to pick your hunting grounds but can adapt to others. Clothes shops are easy, just introduce yourself and tell them you are looking for a present for your sister and ask for advice as you are male and obviously know nothing about current fashion for womens clothing. Also that they are the same build, word carefully, as your sister What the lady picks out for you will be something she likes herself. If the body language is right then buy it. It will get you out of the guilty confession later on that you lied because you found her attractive and did not have time to think of another approach and did not want to lose the chance to meet her when you hand the item over gift-wrapped for her. Before that stage you have made contact and they have helped you so it is only right that you at least buy them a coffee or something so suggest it. Then you have an opening to head further if you both wish to. If not then nothing lost by having a chat and you have met someone new.

Now I have fessed up one example of how the boys do it let's hear from the girls.

Happy easter

Indeed many girls on ThaiLoveLinks are not all they suggest
I did meet one girl from there once - definately not genuine and isnt it amazing how appearances can change from the photos
