Driving from bkk to hh

Post by Wheeling Dutchman »

Hi everybody,

I am coming to Hua Hin for the first time in februari 2005 flying in to BKK from Amsterdam, Netherlands. I'm sitting in a electric wheelchair and looking for transport from BKK to HH. My wife is an experience driver at the right side of the road. I cannot drive. I'm staying in the Hyatt Regency.
Does anyone have suggestions for transport? I take ramps with me where ever I go abroad.

I would seriously suggest that your wife doesn't consider driving in Thailand. The roads in Thailand are deadly even for experienced Thai drivers, let alone ones from Europe.

If your chair can be packed away then I'd suggest a taxi or minivan.

Theres a couple of addresses which may be useful to you here or you may try a google search.

Hello Clive,

Thank you very much for your reply. We ordered a minivan from hunhintaxi. They remove the bench behind the driver and we will take some ramps with us.

So, untill then in Hua Hin :D
