Hua Hin bus station relocating?

Post by chammers » Tue Dec 27, 2016 1:05 pm

I have been told that the Hua Hin Bus station is relocating to somewhere near the airport on January 11th, but can't find any information on-line. Does anybody know any more?

That's the area alleged to be earmarked for the new high speed train station, so makes sense! But not heard anything.
Now semi retired 60:40 Thailand: UK ( seems to be working well)

The airport bus company have just sent me an email confirming their move to a new location from 17th January.
It is next to the Huahin Secondary Post Office, near the airport.
Not convenient for me at all, but I suppose it will be for others.

Is this bus station for the big buses? If so, where do they go to?

Don't know about any other operator, just Bell Travel VIP bus service to airport, and, I presume, Pattaya.

This is the new location, unsurprisingly there is no mention of this on their web site

In one respect it makes sense - it avoids all the traffic through the town. That onus in now put on passengers!

I've been thinking that - it'll save fuel, and considerably cut journey times.

Actually it is only the airport bus that is relocating, what is happening to all the other busses that use the existing facility? the new place is much smaller

Listening to the local morning News it appears the airport bus will be re locating and operating from the new location as of today.

Yes I know the airport bus is relocating, the question was what about the other buses as the original post is "Hua Hin Bus Station Relocating" which does not seem to be the case

Sounds to me that the op got some 2 hand information.
I think its only the airport bus that will move as I think it will cut min. 30 min. of time in the rush hour in and out of HH,with its new location, which suit me fine since I live in Somorn prhong
