It was time to dust off the road warriors and take a ride; from south through Hua Hin and up to Kanchanaburi. Then on to Sai Yok Noi for a night before heading further north to Sangkhlaburi and the Three Pagodas Pass. Final leg was around the Srinagarind reservoir and back to K-town.
If anyone has complaints about the heat in Hua Hin - try Kanchan province, it is the hottest place in Thailand - and we felt it! The most noticeable observation was how low these two reservoirs were, bearing in mind these are still two of the largest lakes in the country. Thailand is going to have some serious water supply issues in the coming years.
