Just a quick off topic but that discussion about the problem read a bit like the opening lines of Airplane

How and where do we buy tickets from the Hua Hin side?

Have you been on the ferry yet or planning to in the near future?
Would be interested to know how things went/go.
Yes went to buy a return ticket for next week, interested to see how the trip goes.

Did you get a return ticket, it was my understanding you have to purchase your return ticket in Pattaya.

I think the one-way restrictions were during the free period. If you think about it, they were making it up as they went (not meant as a derogatory comment), and there weren't even any offices when they started. I would hope that now they're charging, their admin is now operating correctly.

What will happen at the fishing pier though? I noticed they have built a 'terminal' for the ferry there as well? Will that be for fair weather berthing?

Maybe that will be used in the future if/when more ferries come on line.

Follow the road past the Amari to the end where the police box is. Bend right and follow past the temple on your right. Turn left into the soi just after 'The Oasis' on your left. Follow that soi down to the beach and you will see the pier and ferry office.
