then there's the question of the quality, upkeep of the ship and the competence of the captain and crew to consider.

I have put my name up for the fuel supply concession. I estimate that after 1 year I will have enough profit to buy a new Rolls Royce to take me to the airport and fly my new helicopter across to Pattaya. :rasta:

Apparently they have plans to extend the journey to the moon and hopefully also mars in the near future as well!!
Yes thats what I read into it too...

Plus there will be no ugly people going. They will all be either good looking white people, or white skinned Thais. All the white men will have suits on. (Cause its always cool enough to wear a suit in Thailand) and will hold business meetings during the crossing.

Also the kids will be able to sleep quite easily at 50 knots speed with no listing whatsoever.

I believe all of it... why would they lie ?

This will never happen as long as I have a hole in my a** and that will be 20 years after I am buried.

As for that video, easy to make a cartoon, not so easy to do in real life, especially for the Thais.

I'll drive thanks. :duck:

There seems to be two locations being built for ferry terminals.

Substantial new buildings going up on the old car park, near refurbished fishing pier and Buffalo Bill's.

And newly built small harbour development in Khao Takiap, South of Monkey Mountain.

Anyone got idea what these new developments are?

The new fishing pier is supposed to be getting a fish sorting house instead of it being done on the floor as it was in the past. At Khao Takip who knows.
Strange how there is no requirement to put up information boards except for major developments.

There is, or was an information board at Khao Takiab - harbour entrance improvements and an esplanade and small boat moorings. The proposed ferry terminal is in Pranburi.

Actually there is a sign at the fishing pier, in Thai only, wife read it but could not explain.

But back to topic

Is this a post that was done before, speed 148.25 Miles Per Hour, that's only 238km per hour, pff snails pace.
