China Memories (photos)

Post by Stargeezer »

Here are a few pictures I took of my
China trip from a couple of years ago.
For those who have not been there, Some pictures are Bejing,
and some of Shanghai. Unique structures! They even have
Walmart , but my picture was blurry.
More to come.

Nice photos, stargeezer. One day, I hope I'll have enough time and then I'll buy a good scanner and convert my old slides to digital form. I first went to China in 1986 and I have plenty of slides from there, as well as from Japan, South-Korea, Taiwan and India btw 1987-88.

China Great Wall visit

Post by Stargeezer »

These pictures are from about 2 years ago, It was great to see, but
my advice is to go there when it is warm. As you can all see from the pictures,
we couldn't take our hoods off even for a picture, as the weather was way to nippy.
I think it was the second best day of exercise for me on the whole tour.

Interesting to see the use of solar panels, which I presume are for hot water, in photo phpLIQeW8PM[1].jpg of your first post.

A great pity more use is not made of them in Thailand. :thumb:
