Hua Hin to Pattaya by Bus

Post by Big Boy »

I'm sure I've read about it on here before, but I've just been searching for quite a time, and can't find it.

Is there a bus (not mini-bus - too small) that goes from Hua Hin to Pattaya without having to change at Bangkok please? If there is, can somebody please post details?

Hope I'm wrong, but I'm pretty certain that there isn't a direct route.

Iomu is right, I'm afraid - the only direct route from Hua Hin to Pattaya is via public minibus.
A private minibus with a good driver costs 4.5 - 5 k.

Is there not a service called Yellow Bus (or something similar)?

Thanks - I'd already found the thread about the service to Phuket, but I'm sure there was mention of the Yellow Bus, or a Yellow Bus (may not be connected) that did a daily service to Pattaya.

Late with suggestions.......but look up the Dusit Sprinter with 10 seat Mercedes going from Dusit HH to Dusit Bkk where it then goes onward to Dusit Pattaya. An alternative anyway if needed. Pete

I read recently (but cannot remember where) of a boat that goes from Hua Hin to Pattaya - takes 3 or 4 hours.

That service was cancelled last year Bernard. No plans to re-open it as far as I know, unless you've hit upon some article about a new company and new plans. Pete
