There's a great photo on the front page of today's Bangkok Post; is shows band members of the fleet, dressed in whites, parading through ankle deep water.

Yes, I'll post a video later. I was that drowned rat. You will see that by the time they got to me, it was one of the shabbiest displays of military marching ever.

Here's the rain that preceded the parade. We only got soaked thanks to a leaky Burger King umbrella. The really bad thunder had passed by this time, and it was brightening up. Others drowned:
