Travel to Don Muang
I'm well aware that there is now apparently a very well-organised bus service from Hua Hin to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Can someone please tell me, though, the best way to get to Don Muang Airport.
I have to get flight there at 2.40 p.m. on Wednesday.
Thanks a lot

I'd have thought the best way, although not the cheapest, is to get a taxi - door to door about 2000 baht.barrys wrote:I'm well aware that there is now apparently a very well-organised bus service from Hua Hin to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

If you go to the taxi service on the corner of Hua Hin 61 and Poon Sulk in front of the City Beach Hotel, tell the guy (one day in advance) you want to go to Don Muang Airport. He will do it for 1800 baht. You will need to deposit 200 baht. Allow three hours to get to the airport.
Re: Travel to Don Muang
Barry, my missus travels out of Don Muang frequently and she takes the silver bus to swampy, then taxi to DM.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

^^ the airport bus is silver color, and is a very nice ride and from swampy there should be a free
shuttle bus I heard, but not sure about schedule.

Thanks a lot for all your useful and knowledgeable advice.
After weighing everything up - time, cost, convenience - I've decided to go by private taxi.
Gf got a good deal, I think, from the company she hires minibuses from.
I have a minibus to myself from Pak Nam Pran to Don Muang for 2k.

I meant 450 baht total from Hua Hin using the swampy bus, then taxi from the swampy meter taxi stand to Don Muang.bsdk1960 wrote:^^ 305 baht last time I used them in April.
