Hi, has security been upped at Suvarnabhumi since the Paris atrocity? Purely hypothetically, of course, I'm just wondering if one was foolish enough to to bring in, say, a couple of bottles of booze in one's check-in baggage should one expect closer scrutiny now?
And, just to get a better feel of timing, have recent incoming/outgoing travellers noticed if it is generally taking longer to go through immigration and customs or is it more or less the same?
Is Suvarnabhumi airport security stricter right now?

In a word. No.
Went to Philippines just over a week ago and came back Monday. Outwardly there was no difference to my untrained eye. Needless to say I was not worried as I was within limits.

I regularly sneak a ounce or two of heroin through Suvarnabhumi. Probably twice a week at least. Recently I've noticed that they (the custom dudes) are stopping more people to check if they are flaunting the laws. As the heroin is up my bum, I'm okay on most counts. Been anal porobed a few times but that comes with the job.
*cough*...*splutter*...
If you are willing to try and bring in (from a foreign country) anything more than the law allows, you deserve to be caught and locked up to boot.
