The board of the Airports of Thailand Public Company is expected to consider a proposal to charge arriving and departing air passengers using six international airports a 35 baht/flight Air Passenger Processing System (APPS) or security fee at a meeting on Tuesday.
A well-informed source said that the security fee for the use of Suvarnabhumi, Don Meuang, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Chiang Rai’s Mae Fah Luang international airports are proposed to be imposed as of December 1.
As for advance air ticket bookings before September 10, the source said that the board would also be asked to consider imposing the 35 baht/flight security fee as well.
Meanwhile, the board is expected to endorse a reshuffle involving 6-7 executives of the AoT at the same meeting on Tuesday.
Among those to be reshuffled include Mr Petch Chuncharoen, deputy director of Suvarnabhumi international airport for operations, who is expected to be appointed director of Don Meuang international airport replacing Mr Songsak Thongthaeng who is due to retire at the end of September and Mrs Chadanisa Chamnanvej, a C10-level specialist, who is expected to be appointed deputy director of Suvarnabhumi international airport for operations.

Yes of course. I imaging using the Bangkok Erawan bombing as an excuse to stuff their pockets more rather than doing a correct job as they're already being paid to do from existing funds and fees!

35 Baht fee, 100 Baht to administer fee. Way to go Thailand.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
