Air freight from Thailand

Post by buksida »

Has anyone sent anything by air freight from Swampy airport?

A friend needs to send a packaged bicycle back to the UK - I've emailed the top couple of websites that come up in a Google search for it but no response from any of them.

Any suggestions?

Why not ask DHL what it would cost to send the bicycle to UK?

Cheers guys, no response as yet from DHL (24 hours later, I'm amazed how these companies actually stay in business).

Did get a reply from a company called Sea Fly though so will see how that goes.

Have you considered the air cargo division of a passenger airline? Delta services both BKK and London.

Why don't you try the Thailand post website; if they can ship a motorcycle across the country I'm sure they'll be able to ship a bike to the UK and for less than what a courier would charge. I've used them to ship some quite bulky items to Singapore ems with tracking and it worked a charm. Not quite the size of a bicycle though.
