Parking at Suvarnabhumi Airport

Post by Bernard »

Does anyone have the latest information on parking at Suvarnabhumi. I need to leave the car there for about 3 weeks and would like to know cost and the preferred car park please.

I think this will be an exercise of 21 days of parking costs vs a limo/van/taxi both ways. The outcome may be close. Stay tuned. Pete

Found this link which gives cost info. I've never used the long term but I believe it is away from the airport buildings and a shuttle bus is needed. Pete

Last time I used it long term parking was 150 tb a day. It is a short shuttle from the terminal, and the bus runs ever 5-10min, from directly opposite the car park, trip is probably 10min approx. Quick / clean / efficient.

It is open air, no shade, but there is security guards on duty.

I was happy (as much as you can be with a car park!) and would use it again.

If its simply based on cost, then 21 days will work out at 3150 baht for the 21 days, plus the cost of fuel getting there. Depends on where you are travelling from, but a taxi could work out a better option?

Taxi is 1,600 baht door to airport (plus tip if you like). Taxi may be overall slightly more but convenience and hassle of driving-- Wouldn't drive myself.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go with the taxi option as apart from the cost I don't really fancy leaving a new car in the blazing sun for 3 weeks, or maybe more!

They have a monthly subscription parking rate, you might be able to look into it and just cancel your membership after a month - loosing the deposit but still work out cheaper than the daily rate for 3 weeks
