Thai Regional has a booking engine on their website and appears to work. They have just added a Hua Hin - Samui flight in November

Well, surprise of all surprises, there apparently *is* still an airline serving Hua Hin-Bangkok!

Using the link in canthai's link above, I checked and there is one flight daily in each direction. It is sold out today and tomorrow (!) but shows available for the next day (15-Oct-12):

Downside is that you always have to wait a few hours. A taxi is 2,5 hours and you're already in Hua Hin before the plane leaves in Bangkok

I understand that the airline never made it's first flight. The airline has been grounded

Not quite TTJ, Berjaya Air fly into HH three times/week from KL, now it's not BKK granted but my father-in-law uses the flights and it's a God send for him, as they fly out of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah airport in KL, which is less than half the distance from downtown KL as KLIA, so he saves lots of time on both ends and it's also much cheaper than the alternatives into BKK.

A couple that I know, used the flight to KL the week before last and spoke very highly of the service. Not sure exactly what the plane is but it was a twin prop holding 70 odd passengers although their flights were less than half full. Apparently the flight is popular with Malaysian golfers who come to HH to play, presumably cheaper than back home?

Not sure if they fly to other destinations from HH, but for KL it sounds like an efficient option at about 2.1/2 hours flight time, quite often less than the time it takes to get to BKK by taxi.
