watch air traffic

i hope this has not been posted before (i couldnt find anything in search) i came across this site the other day and thought it might be useful for some http://www.flightradar24.com/

It loaded for me, but very slowly. It only covers Northern Europe, so with the ash cloud affecting things, there were only 7 planes flying when I looked.

You can "grab" the map and push/drag it so that UK or USA is in the centre if you like.

Yep, It's worldwide. Just been looking at Aussie planes. Drag the map.

I dragged the map all over the world, but didn't find any aircraft South of the Med or East of Austria.

Did you have to do anything to change regions? It clearly showed as Northern Europe both times that I logged on.

It also quoted 'Too many users' while I was logged on.

I think its primarily northen europe but i have also seen planes over india and australia maybe you have to alter the settings?im still playing with it myself
