Flight deals back to the UK

Post by Vital Spark »

Mr. VS has been doing a bit of research on flight prices back to the UK next April. This is what he found: (all the prices are for two passengers)

KLM - 97,320 Baht!
Thai - 96,270 Baht!
Eva (their website) - 86,770 Baht
Etihad - 76,630 Baht
Jet Airways - 75,930 Baht
B.A. - 86,230 Baht
Aeroflot - 75,577 Baht
Finnair - 87,800 Baht
Lufthansa - 99,610 Baht!!!
Air Berlin to Stanstead (our nearest airport) - 88,000 Baht

And the cheapest deal around...
Eva - 67,550 Baht (if you book through www.moxtravel.com)

It certainly pays to shop around for the best deal.

Interesting differences to say the least. Last time I flew out of Thailand it was with Emirates and they were OK then(2 years ago) but no mention on the list. Are they still worth considering or have they slipped into mediocrity now?

You should check out Air Asia and Air Asia X. Take a flight from Bangkok to KL with Air Asia and pick up a flight with Air Asia X from KL to London.

I've got to go back to the UK next summer for a few weeks for a family wedding. Thanks for the details I'll look into those in the New Year, once the rush is over a bit.

I haven't been back for over 5 years, if it wasn't for the family wedding I'm not sure I would bother.
