Portable River Turbine

This could be of interest to anyone who lives near a river, especially in a rural location over there...

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

What happens the first time floating debris rams it or fouls the blades? Ah, but the real problem is the same one with small, cheap wind turbines. The expensive and complicated part of any flow powered turbine is automatically preventing overrun. This one doesn't have it.

Combine a few of these in your garden with the turbine above in a nearby river and you could probably be energy independent...
