This is just a political and financial scam....
Could we have some names of the perpertrators or any other evidence to support this claim?

Al Gore was still at law school in 1975 when Broecker wrote his paper on Global Warming that introduced the term.

what's that got to do with the fact that he profiteered from a misguided documentary full of speculation & mistruths? :?
imo, he's probably the one most responsible for the biggest sway in public opinion turning against GW :|

It's got a lot to do with the fact that whoever is profiting from Global warming, or indeed from denying it, has absolutely nothing to do with the physics of the matter.
The physics, as understood for over a hundred years, says that if the amount of C02 in the atmosphere increases, the temperature will rise.
I notice that the oil industry, with it's almost limitless wealth, spends it's money on political lobbying to fight climate control legislation, instead of employing phycisists to try and disprove basic greenhouse gas theory.
Indeed if they can afford to spend $175 million to fight one piece of US legislation, they might also think to employ an army of private detectives and investigative journalists to unearth the perpetuators of this supposed scam and an army of lawyers to sue for damages.

Climate Change Doubt Is Tea Party Article of Faith:

You couldn't make it up!
“It’s a flat-out lie,” Mr. Dennison said in an interview after the debate, adding that he had based his view on the preaching of Rush Limbaugh and the teaching of Scripture. “I read my Bible,” Mr. Dennison said. “He made this earth for us to utilize.”

A prominent French climate change sceptic has been forced to eat his words in emphatic fashion after the Academie des Sciences, of which he is a member, published a report contradicting his claims.
Putting a lid on what has become its own version of the UK's 'climategate' row, France's most august scientific body yesterday declared that global warming exists and has unquestionably been caused by the activities of mankind.

Hi there Y'All

Rush Limbaugh belongs to those hard core conservatives who's @ the forefront of those Climate Change deniers who ins everything is as fine as it is. He and Sean Hannetty are keeping the Global Warming Agenda alive and keeping stirring up the public bey attacking local, regional, State even national environmental projects which they see American economic growth.
When a environmental Desaster happens they go from all out denial to partial acceptance but instead of finding a solution and keeping a cool and rational head Mr. Rush L. & Sean H. Go straight to dispair and argue there's nothing that we could about it and Stat the blame game by finger pointing the their opponents for not doing enough. As the fact tell under conservative rule all environmental had been turned down for the sake of economic growth and development.

How have all those wind farms and solar farms in Spain worked out economically? That does have to be a consideration. Maybe you can save the planet from environmental disaster by drastic means but if those means throw large populations and economies into ruin, what have you accomplished. More harm can be done to the human race with good intentions than the problem would have caused if the wrong actions are taken.

Most of the western world is in economic depression right now. Is that really a good time to introduce further economy killing actions like cap and trade or investing in wind or solar energy which has proven to be less efficient economically than fossil fuels and much more costly to the public who are already struggling financially.

I say lets get the economy back in order first and then when that is healthy we can revisit the luxury of alternate energy and taxes to combat climate change, or else the cure could end up being worse than the disease.

I don't know HH; there's a chain of thought running at the moment that alternative energy is going to be the next big economic driver, that's why the Chinese are putting so much investment into it.
