If that was the case with the golf society before, I don't think it is now. They have a guest competition, separate from the main members' ones, every time they go out. During the high season, there can be up to double figure numbers of guests playing.
As said in the other thread linked above, remember to bring over your handicap certificate with you. As a guest, you'll have to pay the full green fee at the courses.

sorry if i sounded a bit anti but i checked out there web site and it seems if you have to be introduduced by a member to attend it all sounds very cliquey.
thank you for your help anyway but i will not spend my hard earned money in a bar with such a attitude towards visitors.

lucan, I've got no interest in golf whatsoever, but I've used that bar many times without feeling like an outcast.

I'd respect lomu's view - his advice is generally very good.

IMHO you are only spiting yourself with your attitude. Go to the bar, get chatting, and I'm sure you fit in nicely (you've then found somebody to introduce you to the society). If you do, it's a win - win situation. If you don't, what have you lost?

i was not have a go at the patrons but the bar owner who i have found to be rude and arrogant to vistors.
he only seems to be intrested in his regular customers that is why i take my buissnes elsewhere.

Lucan, I think you are a troll. In one post you say you have been looking at the website of the golf society, in your next one you say you have been to Bernie's and don't like him and will take your custom elsewhere - which is it? Do you know the owner or not? Sorry, but you are inconsistent and clearly are here to spread bad vibes about the bar and the society in question.

a troll i doubt if you even know the meaning of the word without looking in a dictionary .
i have been visiting hua hin for more than 25 years and have visited the bar i have not been there recently due to a influx of plebs like yourself.
i made refrence to the website as confimation.
next time read the post and engage that dormant organ you call a brain.

lucan,it's no wonder you cant get a golf partner slagging bernie/the customers off,if you have been going to hua hin for the last 25 years how come you are not a member or know anybody to play a round with,i agree with everything jim says.
