Euro, Yes night market is same same but it is a fixed venue. I didn't mention buying clothes or souvenirs. I have no interest in that. My post was about having some cultural displays. I travelled to Bangkok 2 months ago to see a wonderful exhibit of photographs of old Thailand it was in my opinion a wonderful exhibit but as usual it does not leave Bangkok. One nice thing was no food stalls.
Pattaya Mini Chatuchuck sounds interesting but why travel further than BKK for that, where you can visit the real thing. The point is how can we get some of these things here in Hua Hin.

From Europtimis:
What has Hua Hin ???? and when something happens there are complaints from farangs.
From BB:
f there was an avalanche of Farang complaints, there were a hundred times more on Thai social media last night, which was the inspiration for my post.
Why do many of the forum assume it's just moaning farangs that complain? It's just not true!

I am happy when something happens, why traffic chaos ? Only one side is closed, you can use soi 78, 80, 82, 88
Yes I only see farangs complaining.
About how to get some interesting things in Hua Hin, unfortunately as farangs individuals are not taken in consideration and magazin owners as Approach, Hot Hua Hin or HH Today are just interested in making money with adverts.

I agree those sois are fine for bikes but for mainstream traffic - NO. And of course the diversions will be well signposted -- NOT.
It's akin to the RTP mentality on traffic. Too much traffic, then put traffic lights to flashing amber, close all the U-turns and don't allow anyone to turn right. Beggars belief.

^^Do you practice or does being an irritating pr** come naturally?

Please don't go away as seeing the extremes is a good guide to see the extreme and keep stability and permit normal and welcoming interaction with people with differing opinions.

To date your posts are mostly (not exclusively) intended to offend through non compliance with your views, racism, and downright bigotry.

I.e. A selection of quotes

It's not possible to inject a real brain in Thais head.
How do you intend educate young Thais by illirated parents and the kind of teachers we know.

She ince I live here, I heard so many stupidities that I don't care anymore, but I am surprised that some farang still believe those bla..bla.

Thai bla..bla...bullshit

blahblah..bla thats fits you very well. I only regret that EU didn't knock you out long time ago, you backwards walkers.
The Brexit will be hard and I hope you will suffer a lot.

Well done for Brits, must be punished for their stupid vote.

Not only Thais are dead brain, but many farangs too. Soi 80 has 2 parallel sois with residents on both. What about them ???? Selfish farangs.

Good news: A Brit crushed his Benz in Ch.Mai. Not only a Thai speciality. Knowing the love for large quantities of alcoholic drinks for this nation, it's not surprising.

It happens every day all around Thailand. That's the behavior of an uneducated, primitive and violent nation.

Really!! You need to seek help. Being provocative is great but you are somply trolling for reactions! Get a life!

Blah blah blah

There are no stalls erected in that particular area. Vehicular access is allowed, only that vehicles leaving the RC should make a U turn right away and use the northern side of the road.
However, last evening there were:
- rabid mosquitoes around (got trained at the RC, where else? :) ) => still would make sense to fog them today;
- quite many tourists but most vendors only have product info in Thai, verbal or written;
- Chang tents  but mostly bottled water on the tables => often a better value anyway, IMO :)

"quite many tourists but most vendors only have product info in Thai, verbal or written"

because tourists are Farang and this fair is not for Farangs.

Maybe bullshit now, but I guess the public outcry from the Thai netizens must have been acted on. Of course, it could have been fake news :?

Or maybe common sense prevailed........................... eventually.

WOW !!! Bristolian, you spent some time to put some of my former comments on line. I confirm all my comments without regret and without changing one word.
Actually the topic is about the pretended TRAFFIC CHAOS by a minority of farangs.
Another complaint is that products info is in Thai. You look at the products or ask for help.
Now I have some friends from Europe in HH. They don't speak Thai and they love that kind of markets. They already went to OTOP yesterday and loved the food.

Maybe traffic CHAOS was a wee bit extreme, however late afternoon yesterday there was a hell of a jam going north along Phetkasem as no one could turn left up 76 so they had to continue along to Chomsin Road

The chaos will start this evening, and last all weekend as the regular influx of Bangkokians can't turn up there to get their fix of chicken. FFS, they seem to be able to put up notices for every little event, why can't they put up a few diversion notices? It should be a condition of the authorities granting permission to close the road for every fair.

Chomsin or soi 88 are best solution.
The real traffic chaos is NY, Chinese NY, Songkran and long week ends.
