Posting a motorcycle

Post by usual suspect »

I'm sure this subject has been covered on here before, but cannot find the relevant pages, so here goes...
Wifey wants daughter's motorbike bringing from Issan to H.H...She's thinking of using the train, but the logistics involved in getting the bike to Korat station may be a problem..but her local town DOES have a post office...so, has
any forum members posted a bike recently? If so what was the proceedure? Also what paperwork was needed?..did the person sending the bike need to show it's green book, or the owners ID, or proof of address etc..??
Any info would be welcome..otherwise I have to drive there to fetch the thing!

I'm also interested, as I have a new bike just purchased in Phuket that I want to get here (HH).
I also have a work desk, that could come along for the ride if space permits.

Cheers.
