2nd hand motorbike shop in Hua-Hin area

Post by neo24 »

Can someone direct me to a good motorbike shop? I would like to buy good secondhand bike. Looking around, everything seems to be overpriced even in low season. Any good deals in Cha-am?

125cc or better. I'm looking at a tricity but I know its overpriced. Asking prices is 73,000b secondhand, but new 81000b. if they would consider 60-65000 i would buy it.

If you can afford it buying new is much better as it is rare to find a bike that has been properly maintained. HH as Jameswest says is expensive. If you want second hand then It is best to expand your search. Perhaps Pranburi or look in Petchaburi which is not too far to ride back from even on a small bike.

poke your nose into the scooter shop on the soi behind Market Village just to the north. only one. can't miss it. ask about their other location.

look at the place next to the Royal Pavillion Hotel, near chomsin road. across the street from the Esso station on Phetkasem Road. this place is not a honda dealer. they speak english. you should drive a hard bargain. they sell Yamaha. i have been told they have best mechanics by my thai friend who owns a scooter rental company.

look on line. get on the train and bring it back on the train.

they sell new tricity at the shop on soi 88. going west, pass the railroad tracks, then turn right, about 100 yards as the road curves to the left, on the right. they might have used.

offical honda dealer is on east side of Phetkasem Road going north pass the Royal Pavillion Hotel by a few blocks.
lady there speaks english.

that is all i got. good luck, assume nothing.

yes new honda click, 125cc, 52,000 baht total out the door. three year warranty. somewhat civilized behavior at honda. good english when the right lady is there.

Yes been to both towns on my little click!

train also to Petchaburi.

many scooter deaders going north into HH on westside from soi 104.

and Pranburi on the main drag.

I was looking to buy a second hand scooter 2 months ago in Hua Hin/Pranburi area, after checking out 4 or 5 dealers and private sales, i paid an extra 10,000 Baht and bought a new scooter for 42,000 Baht from the Honda dealer in Pranburi.

Crazy prices for 2nd hand scooters, worth paying the extra for full manufacturer warranty and peace of mind.

Seems to always be a line-up of 2nd hand scooters on your left as you exit the Chomsin Rail-crossing/roundabout heading north on the road running alongside the track..many seem to be around 20.000B.
