Car rental Hua Hin -- cheapest prices?
Car rental Hua Hin -- cheapest prices?
I know there's a sponsor ad on the side here, but the cars advertised start at 800 baht a day. Way too expensive. Any idea of the cheapest possible price I can pay for a one-month rental? Car doesn't need to be anything special, but it does need to be an automatic. I knew somebody who was renting for 14000 baht a month early this year, but I lost touch with that person...

It may still be worth checking with the site sponsor to see what their monthly rate is. You also need to take into account what insurance cover you get - a cheap rate may only provide minimum legal cover?dotx wrote:I know there's a sponsor ad on the side here, but the cars advertised start at 800 baht a day. I'll try, but the ad says "starting at 800 baht" so I'm assuming that's for long-term renting. Plus, their cars are all very new, so I doubt they have anything cheap. There must be something else I can do...

Contact them and ask, it is low season so they may offer a discount: http://www.huahinmedia.com/huahincarrental.php

I've got a car you can rent for 14,000 Baht a month. Silver, nice engine, interior ok. Only problem is it does't run. But great gas milage. Very comfortable to sit in.
Sorry, I just had to do it!
At that price you would be better to find a motor bike.

A motorbike for 14,000? Must be covered on gold paint or something...SunandFun wrote:I've got a car you can rent for 14,000 Baht a month. Silver, nice engine, interior ok. Only problem is it does't run. But great gas milage. Very comfortable to sit in.

Hey dotx,
Soi 80 next to dragon bar, has cars, we rented ours with him, (Charles) insured I've checked his website out cheapest $16,000
There's also a place next door that said they would have done it cheaper but didn't ask about insurance as we'd already rented ours.
