Is this in line with world oil prices or is this a Thai Govt intervention in some way ?

Diesel is government subsidized. I'm assuming the others are in line with their purchasing/import costs. Pete

This sounds about right. I still get a weekly e-mail regarding pump prices where I lived in the UK - a legacy of my life there. Petrol prices there have dropped by 2p a litre this week.

The government have an official maximum price for diesel at 30 baht. The taxation levels between gasohol and diesel are quite dramatic 33% for diesel and approxThe conspiracy theorists are out in force with the proposition that the tumble in gold prices is US driven. With all of the US economic woes, fiscal cliff, QE etc., this is a way for the $ to gain strength as gold investors look elsewhere to place their wealth. 45% for petrol. The tax levels for both are the highest or close to the highest in the
region.
