There isnt one as its a Thai motorbike that isnt sold in English speaking countries. They are intending launching them in India soon so maybe in a year there will be manuals online. They sell em in singapore ind so maybe if you are down there ask in a Yam shop.

There is a US equivalent which is the same bike with some cosmetic differences called the Yamaha VINO. Id expect theres a Haynes Manual somewhere online for that model. Try doing a search for that.

Heres the Yamaha US VINO page http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/produ ... /home.aspx - maybe theres an online User Manual. You could always email em and ask.

The bike is a really well built sturdy little sod under all that dressing. It needs minimum attention and servicing - keep an eye on the oil and tyre pressures (26 front 28 back is what the lads in the Yam shop recc) and you should be fine. The small shops round town can service em easily and cheaply.

Thanks for the advice.

Regarding oil, do you recommend to buy a genuine Yahama and check level by myself or can I trust the quality of the small shops ?

And last question, is a security chain or lock necessary for the daily live in Hua Hin ?

Oil is good from the small shops....same same as the big Yam place

Chain and lock? About as much use as a chocolate fireguard. The theives just pick it up and chuck it on a flatbed.

See in the UK, if someone sees you cutting the chain or lock, they would call the police or step in and say OI what you doing? Here the average Thai will do sod all.

The spots to avoid are the karaoke area and round the railway station area at night and especially at teh weekend at night when the Bangkok breaker brigade come shopping with their pickups. Leave your bike unlocked round there or down a dark soi at those times at your peril. If they cant nick teh bike they will just take bits like custom parts and mirrors. Activity seems to go through phases, but its no worse than anywhere else (other than nicking parts off the bike)

The steering lock is sufficient usually.

Watch yourself round town - thais have sod all respect for rules of the road and its a free for all. Bad bits are round Market Village, around the several markets round town, and the big road turnoff at the south end of town. Keep your eyes peeled at railway crossings.

Definitely avoid riding at school tipping out time. Hundreds of mopeds with three kids aboard blatting about and theyre a frickin nightmare.

And ALWAYS wear a lid.

have fun mate - be careful and youll be fine.
