Motorbike Rental

Post by confetti »

All,

How much would I be looking at to rent an automatic moped (small engine motorcycle) for a week in Hua Hin. Also can anybody recommend a decent rental company (i.e. one which is good value and that wont try to rip me off when I return the bike by saying I have damaged it!!)

Im hoping I may be able to get one for 1000 -1200 baht.

Cheers

There are numerous places around town that rents out motorbikes (they are not called mopeds, mopeds are smaller 50cc). The going rate is 150-200 THB per day, often with a price reduction of some 10-15% for a whole week. The trick is to find a place with new and well-kept motorbikes.
The Fat Cat guesthouse at the fishing pier has brand new honda 110cc automatics. No-nonsense owner. :thumb:
