KiDO, Educare Center, welcomes children from 1- 6 years of age. KiDO Head Office received a national reward of high quality daycare by Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of Thailand, the Ministry in charge of ALL daycares in the country. The new KiDO Hua Hin (Soi 102) is the 11th branch of our KiDO Family.

When is the expected opening date for the KiDO center?

Per the photos on their website and Facebook site, it appears they already are. Pete

The last email I had from them is January, No exact date yet but they did mention they would be holding an open day sometime that month.

If its up to the standards of the other branches, it will be a welcome addition to Hua Hin especially for day care.

As KiDO is now open I thought i would post about our experiance so far.
We took our kids along on Sunday for there open day.
First impressions were very good, friendly staff, excellent facilities, great play room, seperate classrooms for the age ranges, child friendly sinks. outdoor play equipment with soft flooring.
The MD from the main office in Bangkok was there to welcome the parents and we participated in some of the activities that would be offered to the little ones.
Being very concious of the fact that socialising is very important for little ones and there is no play groups or mum and tot groups mainly found at home, we decided to take the plunge and trust our little ones to KiDO 3 days a week.
Yesterday was there first day so off we went. The staff were very reasuring mostly to me as my two took off to the play room without a backwards glance.
They didnt encourage us to go in and say goodbye as they felt that it would be more disruptive and unsettling for them. I lasted till 10am till I made the first phone call, i was assured that my little girl was doing well and that my son was a little upset but had eaten his snacks provided for him from KiDO. I was also told that I could phone anytime to check on them, which being the neurotic mother that I am phoned again at 3pm. Again I was assured that they were fine, they had slept one more than the other and that they were currently colouring in the activity room.
A nice touch was that around 30 minuets later I received an email containing photos of the childrens day so far.
Upon picking up of the children, The staff were very informative about the day, what they had eaten how much, pretty much all the information that i would ask of anyone looking after my children was provided for me without having to ask, all this information was contained in a reportbook also.
This morning I was informed that the CCTV technition would be coming to the nursery and I would be given my own password so I can see them anytime.

Overall first impressions are good, very professional and my two seem happy but at the moment its a novelty.
Will give another update when they have been there a while.

Maureen, I doubt KiDO read this page regularly. I would suggest reading their page here http://www.huahinmedia.com/huahinnursery.php , which I think has the information you are looking for and making contact with them through that page,

Hello everybody,
my 18months-old boy goes to Kido, everyday, from monday to friday. I'm very happy of this nursery: they are very kind, professional, they care about the kids, they make them play and learn so many things!
For those who asked, the price for one month is about 11.000thb if you pay 3 months in advance, I thik it's a little bit higher if you pay month by month.
I suggest this daycare: excellent!
