Home Schooling or Private Tutor

Post by dizzythumps »

We will be moving to Hua Hin next Jan/Feb and before our son starts his school in Bangkok we would be interested to know if there is any home schooling available or any private tutors that we could contact - any help in this area would be really helpful

You could try Padma who I believe is a sponser of the site.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

Theres a cool sounding home schooling group who posted on HHAD a while back. HS usually fills me with dread, but that lot sound like they do it properly.http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... 42&t=14767

Theres a thread on at the moment I posted which is a ed from the Post....scary stuff.

Put it this way: If your kids grow up with a education that teaches critical thinking and reasoning as well as facts, and doesnt allow for blanket plagarism of others work, then they will be driving a formula 1 car compared to the rote learning and plagarism driven tuk tuk a state education here delivers.
