Yes, you understand it correctly. There was nobody else near either of them, so I don't know what other offence it could have been, other than wearing a Blue shirt :D

Looks like it was pretty much one-way traffic.

I don't remember the Army having a shot on target, but having said that, the professional football team did not really do enough to show they were, on paper, the much better side. It wasn't until Maraba came on that they really threatened. Hua Hin did not play Nicolas at all.

Samut Songkhram 1 – 1 Hua Hin City

Today was the return to League football for Samut Songkhram having suffered a bye last week. Last season they were playing in T2, but due to Club Licensing issues have been forced to take a double relegation, and are now playing in T4(West). On paper, our hosts were runaway favourites today, but we knew Coach Sebastien would have other thoughts.

There were a few changes to last week’s team due to what I can only assume to be squad rotation – keeping the players match fit has to be a big headache. Natchapon returned in goal after injury, big Dennis was in for Songkran. David and Arnon were strengthening the attack. This looked like a team wanting to take the game to today’s opponents.

Hua Hin had the best of the chances in the first half, with Maraba, David and Haritsadee proving to be a constant threat down the left. When the breakthrough came, Maraba placed a pin point accurate pass to David’s boot near the edge of the penalty area, and David didn’t have to be asked twice to blast the ball past the stranded Samut Songkhram shot stopper.

Maraba was very unlucky not to put the ball into the net twice himself in this half, but the keeper saved well both times. Big Dennis was very unlucky not to grab an opening goal early on as well.

The Samut Songkhram equaliser came from a free kick on the left, beautifully floated onto an unmarked player, who glanced a header into the top right corner. Hua Hin were unlucky to go into the break with honours even.

The 2nd half was a little different, and Samut Songkhram put a little more pressure on to the visitors, although having said that, Natchapon still had little to do. However, there was a scary moment when Natchapon was well beaten, and the ball rattled the underside of the crossbar, before bouncing out again. I am not a big fan of Thai referees, but this was a vital decision, which I believe he got right.

At the other end, Hua Hin had several opportunities to score, which on another day would have won the game for us. Alas, it was not to be. The opposing keeping was earning his money today.

We were very unlucky not to grab a freak winner, almost right on the final whistle. Maraba took a free kick on the left. He floated the ball into the penalty area, but too close to the keeper. The keeper grabbed the ball, but lost it again. The ball was travelling towards goal, when the keeper managed to save his blushes.

This is the second consecutive draw for Hua Hin, and the second time they were the better team. It’s only a matter of time before they win 3 points. Once they start winning, I think they will continue.

There is no game next week as Hua Hin have a bye. Next match will be the following week:

Sorry guys, you won't be hearing much more from me about Hua Hin City. The new regime have turned on the supporters, cancelling all season tickets after just 1 game.

Anybody that goes to Takiab Stadium from here on in needs their heads examined. I WILL NOT BE GOING WHILE THIS CROWD ARE IN CHARGE.

This is what they've posted tonight:

Disgraceful and disrespectful actions. There might be some conflict within the club just now but to turn on the fans is small minded, petty and will be a decision they will come to regret.

My son talked to the club via their beloved Line this morning, They basically said somebody in the club had been selling the season tickets but pocketed the cash, resulting in them having to change them. Additionally, all trace of the massive Privilege Card campaign had been deleted from the page.

This has been published on the official page, 15 hours after the initial post. It changes nothing for my family - we can't support incompetence.
INFORMATION ABOUT PRIVILEGE CARDS:
The cards' benefits are not cancelled, you're still eligible to use them this season. The cards just need to be changed to a new version.

To prepare a replacement card for you, send photos of the front and back of the card and receipt to LINE https://line.me/R/ti/p/%40vnm9983c
If you don't have the receipt, come in person before any home match to change the card to a new one.

Personal season cards still available to purchase: Includes attendance for all home matches + 1 shirt. The cost is 1000 baht. Apply in LINE https://line.me/R/ti/p/%40vnm9983c or before any home match.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused you, and we appreciate your understanding.

Thank you.
Still some unanswered questions:

- Is the culprit in custody?

- Why remove all trace/evidence of Privilege Cards from the official page?

- If it's all true, why the scaremongering?

In my opinion. it was a money making exercise that received a very adverse reaction. Last night's post was very clear, and there isn't even an apology.

Announcement from Sebastien Roques, Head Coach, Hua Hin City this morning:
announcement : I will officially resigned tomorrow from hua hin city FC . Concentrate about another project who will come soon , it s time for me to move from the team . I also have a different point of view about the future of the team compare to the new management , so , difficult to continue this project together . I prefer to die with my ideas than to live with that of others. I wish good luck to the club, the players and call everyone to remain calm. thank you all for your support during these months and Mr Marsault club president . Best regard
