Thanks BB, I had a Rotti in South Africa, great dogs I just don't like the size of present they leave after eating.
Perfect Pedigree Thailand looks a good site, I will follow up with them

jeez Perfect Pedigree Thailand may offer a good service but damned expensive.

Really? I was quoted 22,000 Baht for a Rottweiler pup, which I thought was reasonable.

Which is US$630 and to me that is expensive.

I thought it was OK, but I've never bought a pedigree dog in Thailand. What do you think I should be paying for a Rottweiler pup please?

I really can't say, I just can't justify that much on a dog, I would sooner put $630 into my sons education.

I bought a Rottweiler pup 4 years ago from the most prestigious breeder in Thailand, Ratchaburi Kennel. Father is-was champion in 3 different countries, the mother champion in 1 country. I paid 30,000 baht for the pup. So your 22k doesn't sound to far off.

Re: Pet Show, Market Village
The last time I looked at dogs from one of these 'breeders', I asked if the pups had a pedigree. "No problem, I get one for you in 2 days". So how do you check when a pedigree is genuine here?
Re: Pet Show, Market Village
Personally, I'm not too bothered about a piece of paper. It's the dog I want. I wouldn't be buying to show the dog or to breed.

Re: Pet Show, Market Village
Even though I thought the price was high one must remember the dog comes with microchip, all inoculations and a health guarantee so that really does count for something.
There must be other quality breeders around.

Re: Pet Show, Market Village
You use a prestigious breeder which can demonstrate the quality of his breeding. Just have a look at the website for Ratchburi Kennel and you will understand that this is a proper kennel.
