Book Swap rides again?
There has not been a book swap in Hua Hin SINCE 2011. Probably because the driving forces of it
are now back in America, so most of us have been compelled to color the same books over and over again.
Yet, not all is lost: I came across a flier about a book, CD and DVD exchange:
Pit’s Café* at Dusitland 8 has a swap (exchange) day every Saturday from 5 PM until midnight.
If you want to know more, ask them: 0847295030
*Pit’s Café, in their own parlance:
Pit’s Café, the restaurant at the End of the Swimming pool,
The intellectual, cultural and social center of Hua Hin, The World, The Universe.

Re: Psst, miiisteer!,, you wanna see my fresh books!
More likely because many of us now use a kindle and download our books and films from the Internet.Farang wrote:There has not been a book swap in Hua Hin SINCE 2011. This is the way

There's still plenty of places to do that but as DM said it's now a dying trade because of Kindle and downloading movies
How many video vendors do you see now plying their wares?
Don't bother plugging a bar. It won't 'float'
'The intellectual, cultural and social center of Hua Hin, The World, The Universe.'..........I doubt it

It's a pity really as not all books are suited to kindle, or even available.
