Will be staying 6 nights in Hua Hin in mid January, and looking for the help of a (registered) tour guide for at least 2 of those days.
I will be solo travelling. I'm male, mid forties. Interests... food, culture, beer, shopping/markets, exploring surrounding area.

I don´t know of any "registered" tour guides in Hua Hin.
Some visitors choose to find a friendly bar girl, hire her for live-in for a few days and let her show you around. She will also attend to your more personal needs, share your bed, have your laundry done, massage you, etc. etc. For 3-4000 THB per day (24hrs) not a bad deal at all. Of course depending on the quality of the girl. Use you own judgement when picking, there´s a lot to choose from.
