i used to be member in the gym in soi 94 for 2 years but today i wanted to extend the membership and had lots of trouble in the gym, i was never trreated like that since i moved to thailand i am still shocked. it is now runned by some thai gay guys and the one of them who pretends to be the boss is the unfriendliest person in the world. the former owner was a dutch guy and it was a very nice atmosphere inside but since the gays(sorry i have nothing against gay people) took over people are leaving.
does anyone know a place cheaper than the gym in market village ????? i#d be glad to get some posts.
everybody who is still a member in soi 94, better leave!!!
Any good and not too expensive Gyms in Hua Hin???
Re: Any good and not too expensive Gyms in Hua Hin???
Doesn't Sport Villa or Condochain sell memberships for the use of their gym?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: Any good and not too expensive Gyms in Hua Hin???
HHF : Condochain doesn't have a gym as such. Just a room with a few pieces of very old worn out machines/weights. I think the majority of residents are too old to walk the 20 metres down the corridor to reach the room.......................................

all you guys are so active writers so pleasssssssse help me out on that one!!
Re: Any good and not too expensive Gyms in Hua Hin???
Besides the two you mentioned already, and the Hilton which isn't cheap, I think your only options may be the non air conditioned gym at the boxing place next to Grand Market (if it's still open), and the gym at Sport Villa if it is open to non residents (which I think it is). That's five gyms in a town of 85,000 and 3500 resident foreigners (who are the ones that mostly use the gyms).
How many more would you expect? I think there's one in Cha-Am but do you want to drive that far? Maybe a Cha-Am resident can verify and give pricing info.

Do not know anthing about it, but while I was sitting outside the front of stupid Market Village waitng for it to open yesterday I noticed a sign on the top floor, south side of the "outside" area, that read "Gym".

i just made a membership in sportvilla. small but nice there and good clean machines. grand had a very big gym but they havent changed anything in 6years so...... and i am not sure as well if they r still open for training...
if somebody wants to make a good business open a gym
and speciallize in old people ,as most of the 3500 are,for helping them to be still fit on their age
if somebody wants to make a good business open a gym

Re: Any good and not too expensive Gyms in Hua Hin???
I think you may be surprised when you spend some more time here. While I am one of those older folks, I think at least half of that 3500 are younger people who still work or own a business. People make a big mistake thinking everyone here is retired. Most of the (foreign) people I've met still work or own a business and many of them are under 50, if not under 40.if somebody wants to make a good business open a gymand speciallize in old people ,as most of the 3500 are
